Pam was a homeschool mom for 10 years and then became certified as a Birth and Postpartum Doula through DONA, Doulas of North America. She has been educating and supporting expectant women, and their families for the past 15 years. Pam has always been a health seeker. Being physically active has been a part of her lifestyle for many years. A nature lover since her youth, Pam discovered paddle boarding and found a new passion to pursue. Paddling on the Weeki Wachee River was love at first sight.
After purchasing their home in this amazing place, Pam and Jerry were both certified to teach paddleboard lessons. Their love for this fun and beneficial sport is something they want to share with those who are interested in trying it out for the first time, as well as teaching those who already have experienced paddleboarding, but desire to improve their paddling technique. Pam invites you to share in the fun at Sup Weeki, “Paddleboard for a healthy mind, body and spirit”.
Jerry has been involved in the fitness industry his entire career . He has worked for the YMCA, represented Stairmaster & Nautilus and worked for ACE (The American Council on Exercise) and NASM (The National Academy of Sports Medicine) regarding credentialing of fitness professionals.
As a certified personal trainer and coach he has flown around the world for events. Jerry feels that SUP is a beneficial, as well as fun, way for athletes to train. He is fully qualified to work with those just beginning to exercise as well as serious athletes. Jerry loves to help people train vigorously in these beautiful and natural settings.
